==================================================
Hello again everybody
Welcome to the new online version of our newsletter. It is designed to reduce sending times and bandwidth usage when I notify all you subscribers and in due course will get more decorative and include more images to brighten it up a bit.
WHERE IS THIS FROM?
====================
Welcome to new and mature free subscribers alike. Always quite a few new members will be seeing this, but I always look forward to seeing the long-established names in my mailbox.
I think there is enough info by this time to give everyone a chance of finding some new interesting stuff the only thing that worries me is whether some has passed me by before I could scoop it up for you.
You are always very welcome to cheer me up by writing to me or asking specific questions to see if I can help you with them. Just Click this to write direct to me here or at ask@themusicbox.co.uk
WE ARE REAL!
==============
This newsletter comes from a real music shop, The Music Box, Meadowhall and we have either supplied you with music, received a request from you to be added to the free musical newsletter subscriber list, or we have been talking to you lately on a similar subject, or providing a free advert for you on our web pages which is only available to current subscribers of this free facility.
Hopefully therefore you may find this occasional extra info useful because of your musical interests.
GET THE INFO YOU NEED BUT ORDER WHERE YOU WANT
=================================================
It is entirely up to you and although we shall naturally be very glad if you decide to order from us, we do provide you with commonly used catalogue numbers in this list so you can buy anywhere by quoting them. You will be doing your community a service if you support your local music shop, if it is doing a reasonable job for you.
We do also of course offer several ways of ordering from us, and people are using the facilities to order on-line and also using the info on our pages to order by phone to the shop, or indeed come in and see us for them if they are local. All methods are equally welcome.
You can phone us on 0114 256 9089 at our real-life music store

IF YOU DON`T LIKE THIS NEWSLETTER
===================================
Even at my most efficient I normally only have time to send it out twice a month so you will not be inundated with messages from me, but if you don`t like it, have had to give up the course on speed-reading,or have too full a mailbox to deal with it, you can easily unsubscribe, politely please, by following the easy instructions at the end of this letter.
It`s easy to do, just follow the instructions at the end of this letter. But do please read them carefully first - it`s not been made difficult to do.
IF YOU DO LIKE THIS NEWSLETTER
================================
You are very welcome to forward it on to musical friends or tell them to write in to us to subscribe themselves.
APOLOGIES FOR LATENESS AND NON-ARRIVAL
=========================================
Apologies for being late seems to be a regular headline - and once again I have
been working hard on other things, like re-configuring some of our pages so
that you only have time to drive to your local McDonalds and order a meal for
a family of ten, instead of cooking and eating a four-course meal while you
wait for them to load.
I think they will be more efficient for finding your stuff on also, with more info in one place, but still a chance to see a reasonable selection of titles at the same time.
I have kept some late material in from the last issue, as I discovered that one advantage of this format is that if some info comes in just too late for it I can add it in for late-comers, or people taking a second look.
IT PAYS TO TAKE A SECOND LOOK AT THE
NEWS:ETTER
====================================================
This will also happen this time, so if something sensational happens in
betweeen in a day or two it will magically appear as new info in this letter
JUST OFF AGAIN!!
================
As a matter of fact I am having to get this together
in a hurry, especially after there was a little flutty of activity from the
publishers, but there has not been a lot happening generally, unless you count
one of our main publishers pulling out of the country so that we have to choose
from three different methods of getting their bery popular material for you.
If some sections are rather sparse or non-existent this time, please look in again and hopefully I will have added more later for you.
THE DISAPPEARING PUBLISHER (AND ALEX)
=======================================
This has held us up on some orders unfortunately, but we hope things will become clearer and quicker to operate for you over the next few weeks as the dust settles.
Meanwhile I am off to my parents who are getting to need quite a lot of moral and physical support in their old age, but I shall still be glad to get any letters from you, reply to them as always and make sure that our web ordering system works fairly smoothly from there
BEWARE OF THE THOUGHT POLICE!
==============================.
I
actually spent half-an-hour writing a carefully considered reply to someone
from our website on some musical questions and had the letter bounced back accusing
me of spamming them, along with a website address saying what I had to do (probably
involving the use of some software or web-facilities that the inventor of this
process owned) to prove myself innocent.
If you write to me from a company website please make sure that there is no such "system" in place, or you may not get a reply, and I may not have an ISP in the long run! If you do not hear from me, check whether such a system is in place, because I always do reply to you. I like getting your individual letters from out there.
I read a short while ago of a company that had such an efficient ant-spam procedure in place that they threatened legal action to a customer for writing to them wanting to buy something, because he was not on their list of correspondents. Yes, that is true, not exaggerated and they are not all locked up yet!
This kind of thing is getting more prevalent and is yet another case of political correctness taking over the world.
Excuse me while I go away and close down the Readers Digest single-handed.
Please do not expect "smileys" from me by the way, as I am nearly always being facetious!
HEYULP! FEEDBACK REQUESTED
==============================
I still have not had any feedback on whether our GMT time system works from the USA or Europe or Australia by the way - I would be glad to have anyone contact me from there with confirmation or even to tell me that they are a load of rubbish, if they are.
Our order form will stay in view in a separate window, provided this page is put over to the right and not in full-screen mode.

Many people originally write to us originally from e-mail addresses which forward through to their main address and this causes confusion and makes it impossible to delete without extra information. - I cannot delete addresses which I do not have!
