Is printing my cards really Free?
Yes, absolutely free.

Do I need special paper to fit the cards?
No, the cards adjust to fit your information and you around the guide-lines when you have printed them. Using thin card though will make them more durable.

Do I have to register?
No just go ahead and  use the page to print your business or hobby card.

Do I have to link to you from my webpage?
Not at all, but if you wish to put a link to this page we will be grateful and you may well find it increases the popularity of your website to have this facility apparently in it. Your visitors may then come back to you to print more cards. You can write in for assistance in doing this if you want to.

How do I link to you? Do I need to be an expert?
Basically you just need the access to your site to change your page where you want to feature the business card facility via a link to http://www.printedmusic4u.co.uk/cardpage.htm in other words you want to be able to ftp the new details to your website. If you cannot code this yourself this is done for you on this link to deal with all levels of knowledge, including using a wysiwyg web editor or simple text editor. In extreme cases you can just mail us with the full address of the page you want the business card to work from (and maybe an indication of about where you would like it on the page) and we can send you a copy of your web-page to put up with the link added.

I am definitely not a computer whiz so can I use the business-card system?
It is very simple, you are prompted for everything, so you should not even need this FAQ!

Do I have to register or link to you to use this?
No registration or special links are required

Are their advantages in linking to the free business card page from my own website?
If you do decide to link to this page, your own website will gain extra popularity as your visitors will remember having found the card system on your site, and will need to come back to you to do more cards when they run out or want different ones! You should therefore gain extra traffic and they may decide to buy from you etc when they come back again.

Are you getting information from me when I use this?
We are not. Absolutely no information can be downloaded from you by us as you type, nor would we want to do so. All your work takes place inside your own computer and is sent to your own printer to make your cards.

Then why are you providing this service?
In gratitude to people who bother to visit us and because you may come back to print more cards and eventually use something else from us. If you choose to link to us, it will also probably benefit both of us too.

Can I recommend the card programme to friends?
We would very much like you to and to save you trouble have prepared a quick letter you can send (just fill in the e-mail address of your friend to send it and maybe sign it.

Should I use the long or the short version of the card?
Which version to use is up to you, depending on whether you want to put your home or business address on the card or not - businesses in most cases will want to include their business address though so will normally want the longer one.

Does the longer one cost more?
The longer one does not cost more - both versions are totally FREE to use as often as you want

Do I have to fill in a form to make the cards?
No, there are no forms to fill in you are asked separately for each part of your card to compile it for you

What if I don`t want to fill in part of either version of the card?
It is your choice. In either the long or the short version you can, in any case, choose to leave out any fields you do not want by simply deleting the explanatory text in the prompt box and leaving it blank before pressing OK button. You may even be reminded of this on parts of the card you may not need.

What if I don`t like the result?
You do not have to print it and can try again - just refresh or reload the page or use the back button on your browser.

How many cards can I print?
How much paper and printer ink have you got? That is the only limit! Remember not to refresh the page though or you will have to input the info over again!

Do I need special card paper with performations?
No, just cut round the lines on the page to make each card. This way your card does not have to be an exact size but can vary with the amount of information you have put on it. Use reasonable thickness white or light coloured card for best results and cut around the lines to make your cards.

What do I see when I enter the card-printing pages?
You will not see a web page, only prompt boxes to fill in for each line of your card separately until the very end. Your own cardpage will eventually come into view instantly, ready to print.

Extra tip
If your card does not come out exactly how you wanted, print the result anyway and you can use it to analyse where you want to improve it and have another go after refreshing the page.
